It's easy to be deflated during these hard times, but we want to remind you that you are making a difference, and we can all create change for the better. “Remember there's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” - Scott Adams

Day 7: Wednesday 7th of October

Contact your local MP and take action against cosmetics animal testing in Australia

Have you heard? On 1 July 2020, the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019 came into force. The Act restricts the use of new animal test data for cosmetics safety testing. However, it does not mean that every cosmetic, personal care or cleaning product on Australian shelves is free of animal testing. Choose Cruelty Free and Humane Research Australia have joined forces to urge the Australian government to strengthen the Industrial Chemicals Act, because currently there are still millions of animals in laboratories suffering under this legislation. It's not enough.

Take action here.

We all have the ability to be kind and compassionate and use our individual power to create change. By making a different choice or speaking up about an important issue, it empowers others around you to create change for the better and allows them to speak up for what's important for them.

Here at CCF, we believe that consumer education is the key to stop animal testing. So join us this week and always in speaking up, creating small changes towards a cruelty free lifestyle, and choosing kindness, always. ❤️

Start by taking the Kindness pledge via Edgar's Mission!
